Countries around the world where the sheep herding and care was part of traditional way of life, also developed folk crafts-specifically, the production of felt items made from sheep wool-using similar or differing technologies and techniques. Over time, the forms created from wool have become more refined, evolving without the need for extra steps like cutting or sewing. The current technological process-based solely on layering and felting the wool-produces eco-friendly items such as clothing, accessories, and decorative pieces for walls and floors. Presented and proposed felt1samples demonstrate innovative approaches and techniques for the production of felt products, which are made without sewing and solely through the layering and felting of natural fibers: wool, natural silk, and natural yarn (thread). The technological process of felt production is recognized as an innovation and is protected by a patent and copyright.
